To date, the adoption of this type of care by dermatol-ogists has been seldom considered. In order to assess theadoption of dermatological tele-consultation in the privatesector, the authors conducted a survey with members of the5thdermatological district of the Brazilian Society of Derma-tology (Socidedade Brasileira de Dermatologia [SBD] --- SãoPaulo Region), by sending an online form, distributed in June2020, two months after the beginning of the lockdown. Ofthe total of 300 dermatologists who received the question-naire by e-mail, located in 35 cities in the countryside ofthe state of São Paulo, 84 forms were returned (30% of themembers).A total of 60% of the respondents were between 41 and60 years old. Of these, only 7% carried out tele-consultationsbefore the pandemic and regulations.
